Limp Bizkit announced Thursday (Feb 12) that they are reforming for a new album and will head out on tour in late May.
A statement on the band’s website from members Fred Durst and Wes Borland explained why the original band’s lineup have decided to get back together:
“We decided we were more disgusted and bored with the state of heavy popular music than we were with each other. Regardless of where our separate paths have taken us, we recognize there is a powerful and unique energy with this particular group of people we have not found anywhere else. This is why Limp Bizkit is back.”

Let’s hope they get back to the roots, or evolve into something good, but for fucksake, don’t keep on producing mellow poprock-rap.

Very interesting. I’m looking forward to the new album because I’m sure they’re not touring the US anytime soon…
