Lindsay Lohan Checks Into Jail

Lindsay Lohan surrendered to the court Tuesday morning (July 20) to commence her 90 day jail sentence at the Century Regional Detention Center in Lynwood, California.

Sheriff spokesperson, Steve Whitmore, told the media, “At about 10:11 this morning, Ms. Lindsay Lohan was booked into our facility to begin her sentence.  She has been extremely cooperative and everything is going smoothly.”

Due to overcrowding in the Los Angeles jail system, it’s expected that Lohan won’t serve any more than 23 days.
