





Lindsay Lohan surrendered herself to the Beverly Hills Police Department on Thursday to face charges of driving under the influence stemming from a car crash earlier this year.
Lohan was driving her Mercedes SL-65 convertible on May 26 when she lost control and crashed on Sunset Boulevard in Hollywood.
She then left the accident scene in another vehicle to seek treatment at the Century City hospital with police having to track her down.
According to documents obtained by TMZ, Lohan was charged for "Driving under the influence with a blood alcohol level greater than .08", and for a "misdemeanor hit and run."
Lohan was released and is due to appear in the Beverly Hills Superior Court on August 24 to face charges.
