Lost Actress Bai Ling Arrested For Shoplifting

Chinese actress Bai Ling has been arrested at Los Angeles International Airport for shoplifting magazines and batteries.
The 37-year-old actress, who is known as much for her outrageous red carpet frocks as she is for her film career, was detained on Thursday (February 14) for allegedly attempting to steal magazines and batteries worth $US16. Los Angeles Aiport Police sergeant Jim Holcomb said the actress was booked for misdemeanor shoplifting, and was released after agreeing to appear in court on March 5. "Miss Ling was cooperative throughout the process," Holcomb said. Ling, who has had minor roles in several Hollywood films including ‘Star Wars Episode III’ and ‘Lords of Dogtown’, was born in China and moved to the US in 1991. Along with her film appearances, she has had small roles in hit US television shows ‘Lost’ and ‘Entourage’.
