Lynne Spears Denies Tabloid Interview
April 23rd, 2008Lynne Spears, mother of Britney and Jamie Lynn, has denied giving an interview to a U.S. tabloid magazine who quoted her as saying, "I’m a bit disappointed that my youngest daughter got pregnant at such an early age", with Mrs Spears saying the interview never took place.
Life & Style magazine is claiming an "exclusive interview" with Spears, reported to have taken place on April 20, in which the mother of three supposedly dished her thoughts on her famous daughter‘s and their headline-grabbing situations. "Jamie Lynn will be a wonderful mother," the tabloid quotes her as saying. "She really has a way with children - she’s a natural nurturer. I just wish she had waited a bit." Spears is also quoted as saying, "I pray for Britney every day to be a better mother. She’s gone through a lot of trauma, but she seems to be coming out of it - and it’s showing in her relationship with the boys. They’re really bonding." The world’s media jumped on the explosive story, including TheCelebrityTruth.com, until Spears’ representative informed Life & Style rival Ok! Magazine that the interview was manufactured.
"When Lynne Spears is ready to give an interview, I can assure you it will be a true account without speculation as to whether or not she participated," her rep said.
