Madonna Down Under In 2009? No Chance

Rumors that Madonna will tour Australia this year are apparently not true, despite tour dates and venues being published in Australian newspapers this week.

According to Undercover.com.au, the date suggested for Madonna’s Melbourne show at the venue Telstra Dome is incorrect, as there is no booking at Telstra Dome for that evening.

Madonna’s record label has also denied rumors of a tour, stating that the promoter who was negotiating to bring the material girl down under before the dollar crashed had also denied any knowledge of it.
