Madonna Releases New Single For Live Earth

Pop superstar Madonna is busy recording her new album but set aside some time to record a track inspired by the upcoming Live Earth series of worldwide concerts on July 7 and is letting people download it for free for 7 days.

Produced by hitmaker Pharrell Williams, ‘Hey You’ is the first new music from Madonna since 2005’s ‘Confessions On A Dance Floor’ album with the Material Girl set to perform the track live when the 24-hour, seven continent Live Earth concert hits London’s Wembley Stadium.

As part of the publicity in the lead up to the event, Live Earth, MSN and Madonna are giving the track away free for the next 7 days and will donate 25 cents for each of the first 1 million downloads to the Alliance for Climate Protection.
