Madonna has reportedly named her new album ‘Licorice’, according to Larry Flick, a radio announcer on US satellite station OutQ - who also said that her new album would be released in April - however the pop-star’s rep has denied it.
The material girl’s spokeswoman from Warner Bros, Liz Rosenberg, has stated that the title is incorrect, saying in an email to Reuters that "Sirius does not know what they are talking about. Wrong title. Release date wrong etc."
The new album is Madonna’s final album under her contract with Warner Bros, and features collaborations with Timbaland, Kanye West, Justin Timberlake and Pharell Williams.
Two new songs were debuted on the radio show, called ‘Candy Shop’ and ‘The Beat Goes On’, both featuring Williams.
Madonna recently signed a ten-year contract with Artist Nation, which encompasses all artistic endeavors relating to the superstar’s career, from albums to tours, at a reported US$120 million.
