Madonna: I’m Sad, But Blessed

Madonna has revealed that although she is saddened by her divorce to ex-husband Guy Ritchie, she is blessed to be able to perform, saying it “provides a distraction that keeps me going.”
In a chat with The Associated Press, the Material Girl opened up about her split with Ritchie after eight years of marriage.
“I’m sad about my personal life, but I feel very blessed and very lucky that I have the opportunity to do what I do in my professional life,” Madonna explained Sunday (November 23). “It would be horrible if I was just thinking about getting a divorce and had nothing to do.”
The couple were granted a preliminary decree of divorce in a London court last week.
