Mary-Kate Olsen has broken her silence over the death of Australian actor Heath Ledger, after it was revealed that the massuese that found the late actor called Olsen four times prior to calling 911.
The Associated Press reports that massuese Diana Wolozin contacted Olsen, who was reportedly also one of Wolozin’s clients, four times over nine minutes from LEdger’s phone, when she discovered that the 28-year-old wasn’t breathing.
Olsen released a statement on Friday (January 25) saying:
"Heath was a friend. His death is a tragic loss. My thoughts are with his family during this very difficult time."
Stories are also claiming that authorities were wanting to speak to Olsen regarding the actor’s death in New York, however NYPD spokesman Det. Joseph Cavitolo has denied the rumor.
"Absolutely, at no time are we going to be interviewing her. We never had any plans to interview her," Cavitolo says.
"At this point, we are just waiting for the Medical Examiner’s report."
