Matt LeBlanc Returning To Television

Matt LeBlanc has signed on to star in a new television series called Episodes, with the former Friends star set to play himself in the sitcom within a sitcom.
The new show revolves around a couple who’s hit series in the UK is turned into a less-funny American version; think The Office or Australia’s Kath & Kim.
“I love it. And I am so glad I got the part—seeing someone else play Matt LeBlanc would have been devastating,” the actor said.
Episodes will be helmed by David Crane, who previously worked with LeBlanc on Friends, and will debut in 2010.
