It has been confirmed that actor Matthew McConaughey has been injured while training for a fight scene for his upcoming comedy movie, ‘The Grackle’, with the actor sustaining facial injuries as a result.

According to E! Onine, McConaughey has been studying Ultimate Fighting Championship-style techniques for the role, with the paparazzi snapping the 38-year-old with a bandage over his left eye.

Alan Nierob, McConaughey’s publicist, confirmed in an email that, "It was weeks ago, and he’s already pretty much healed," but gave no further reveal details of what occurred.
