September 30th, 2009

djamThe New York City Medical Examiner announced Tuesday (September 29) that the death of Adam ‘DJAM’ Goldstein wasn’t a suicide as many had speculated, but rather the result of an accidental overdose by the celebrity turntablist.djamAccording to the report, Goldstein died of “acute intoxication” on August 28, with a bevy of drugs found in his system including cocaine, sleeping pills, painkillers, Xanax, OxyContin, Benadryl, Klonopin and Ativan.

The DJ had battled drug addiction for years before cleaning himself up, but friends say the 2008 plane crash that almost took his life and killed four others was responsible for his relapse.
