Megan Fox’s rep has denied that the actress was dumped from the forthcoming Transformers 3, instead suggesting that it was her choice to leave  the hit movie franchise.

It’s no secret that Fox has been outspoken about Transformers director Michael Bay, but despite the public lashings he claimed, “I still love working with her, and I know we still get along. I even expect more crazy quotes from her on Transformers 3.”

However, reports broke that Paramount Pictures wouldn’t be utilizing the services of the 24-year-old and will begin searching for a new love interest for Shia LaBeouf’s character.

“It was her decision not to return,” her rep told PEOPLE.  “She wishes the franchise the best.”
