Megan Fox says she’s loving her new married life Brian Austin Green, telling PEOPLE, “Getting married was the best thing I’ve ever done.”

The 24-year-old actress spoke to the mag while attending the premiere of Passion Play at the Toronto International Film Festival.

“I married my best friend,” Fox adds.  “I’m so lucky to get to be with him every day, and he’s my protector. I feel so safe and happy and completed.”
