Mel Gibson has confirmed that his Russian girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva is pregnant with their first child, but his eighth.

“This is true, we’re having a child,” the Aussie actor told Jay Leno during an appearance on the late night talk show Monday (May 25).

Gibson recently divorced his wife Robyn of 28 years, citing irreconcilable differences.

When asked if he plans to marry Grigorieva, Gibson joked, “Who would do it twice?… I did a pretty good hatchet job on my marriage.”

Leno then teased the 53-year-old about the number of children he has, with Gibson responding, “I guess I’m Octomel now!”
