Melissa George Confirms Exit From Grey’s Anatomy

Aussie actress Melissa George has confirmed that she is leaving hit medical drama ‘Grey’s Anatomy’, saying it was her decision to quit the show and simply wants to “do something else”.
Rumors that the actress, who plays the character Sadie Harris, was departing Seattle Grace circulated around the web on Monday (January 12), but the actress explains it isn’t the nasty exit some gossip sites are hoping for.
“It was my choice,” George told EW’s Michael Ausiello. “My last day of work is Tuesday.”
She adds, “I love the show so much. I’ve made some beautiful friends. I love T.R. Knight. I love Patrick Dempsey, Justin Chambers… I adore Ellen Pompeo. I think she’s a strong, incredible woman. And Katherine Heigl is the most beautiful creature on Earth.”
