Michael J. Fox is making a return to the small screen, his first in 2 years, being cast in a four-episode storyline on Dennis Leary’s hit show ‘Rescue Me’.

The announcement was made on Tuesday (July 15) at FX’s Television Critics Association press tour, with the network’s president John Landgraf revealing he’ll play a love interest of Janet, played by Andrea Roth.

“He’s a very funny, very original character,” Landgraf said.
