Michael Jackson has been given the all clear by his doctors to travel to London, where he will testify at the court case brought against him by Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
The Sheik claims the singer failed to honor the terms of a multi-million dollar deal which included a new album, memoirs and a stage play.
Jackson’s lawyer had initially stated his client was too ill to travel to the UK, however, Judge Nigel Sweeney allowed time for medical teams from both legal parties to discuss his condition.
“He has been cleared by his medical advisers to travel in two days’ time,” Robert Englehart said in court Thursday (November 20).
“Mr. Jackson is intending to travel to this country… and will be available to give evidence to your lordship,” he added.
