Michael Jackson continues to make huge album sales around the world, with the King of Pop shifting another 1.2 million units in the US alone, where he still has the week’s highest selling album.
The Number Ones collection sold 349,000, up 3% on the previous weeks figures, making it the biggest seller in the US charts, while Thriller’s sales jumped 41% with another 216,000 copes rushing out the door.
On the Top Pop Catalogue Album Charts, where albums older than 18 months ago, out of the top 100 and don’t have a current single are compiled, Jackson has the top 12 albums.
