Another week, another lawsuit for the former King of Pop, as documents reveal that Michael Jackson is being sued for $44 million by his ex-publicist, Raymone K. Bain.
News of the lawsuit broke on Tuesday (May 5), after Bain posted a statement on her website saying, “It is with deep regret that I find myself at this place, having to file a lawsuit against my longtime employer, and someone whom I have greatly admired and respected, Michael Jackson.”
She adds, “Unfortunately, Mr. Jackson has elected not to honor the financial obligations of our contractual relationship, despite my numerous attempts to amicably resolve this matter. I am sincerely disappointed in Mr. Jackson’s failure to honor his obligations.”
TMZ have confirmed that Bain is suing the singer for $44 million, stating that she ran every aspect of Jackson’s career from paying bills to saving him from foreclosure.
