Michael Jackson’s London Comeback Delayed

May 21st, 2009

The launch of Michael Jackson’s much-hyped comeback spectacular has been pushed back by five days the concert promoter said on Thursday, but advised it was not a health related issue that’s caused the set-back.

“There’s nothing nefarious,” said Randy Phillips of AEG Live. “There’s nothing going on with his health. This is strictly a production issue.”

Kenny Ortega, best known for his work on the High School Musical flicks and Jackson’s long-time choreographer, added, “After directing the Dangerous and HIStory tours, I know what the fans expect and myself and the team want to deliver a flawless production.

“We apologise to all disappointed Michael Jackson fans and remain extremely dedicated and focused on creating an exceptional live music experience.”
