Michelle Williams Blasts Ledger Drug Rumors

Michelle Williams has slammed tabloids for reporting that ex-fiance, Heath Ledger, had a drug problem prior to his death, with the actresses’ rep labelling the claims “fabricated” and “heinous”.
In this week’s issue of Us magazine, the cover story claims that Ledger abused prescription drugs and recreational drugs including alcohol, heroin and cocaine.
The magazine also alleges that Williams repeatedly attempted to get the actor to seek treatment, and that she refused to let Heath see their two-year-old daughter, Matilda, unless he got drug tested regularly.
Williams rep, Mara Buxbaum, released a statement denying the reports.
"Much of the tabloid reporting is inaccurate,” Buxbaum told www.celebtv.com.
“This fabricated story of Michelle Williams attempting to bring Heath Ledger to rehab is just one lie among many. The speculation is heinous. Let this family grieve privately.”
