Miley Cyrus Is Not Dead: Rumor Busting

Reports that Miley Cyrus has died in a car crash are false, with the Disney star the victim of an internet prank.  See where it started here.

A news article, complete with poor spelling and made to look like a published article on Yahoo News, spread across the internet after the story allegedly broke last Friday (September 5).

Following the false announcement, fans started to upload tribute videos to You Tube, with some pouring out their grief and compiling montages of Cyrus.

However, the 15-year-old attended Sunday night’s MTV Video Music Awards debunking the rumors of her death.

    if anyone says anything bad about Miley i hate them. She is not dead! And she’s not retarted. I hate those idiots who said that about her. If you don’t have anything good to say about Miley, just don’t say anything at all. I can’t believe i actually believed that lie yesterday. It made me really sad.     wow im so glad when i saw people saying she was dead i almost cried i love miley cyrus and even though she has made mistakes she is a teenager. in fact she’s a lot better off than a lot of people AND she must have a huge amount of pressure and stress to deal with so stop criticizing her and look at your own faults and fix them then when you are the perfect person you can criticize other people
