An internet hacker broke into the You Tube account of Miley Cyrus and friend Mandy Jiroux over the weekend, announcing in a video that the ‘Hannah Montana’ star had died.

The message on the video, allegdly posted by Jiroux, stated:

“Hey guys, this is Mandy and I have some very sad news …We’re very hurt to tell everyone this, but Miley died this morning after being hit by a drunk driver. Miley told us if anything ever happened to her, then we should let her fans know before the public…R.I.P. honey, we will miss you so much.”

The video has since been removed.

Jiroux responded to the web breach, writing a message on her MySpace saying, “MILEY IS OK!! Some1 hacked our youtube account!”

Cyrus was the victim of an interent prank earlier this year that announced she had died in a car crash, with the jokester publishing a fake Yahoo News article online, complete with spelling and grammatical errors.
