Morgan Freeman Divorcing Wife Of 24 Years

After making headlines for crashing his vehicle on Sunday night (August 3), Morgan Freeman’s lawyer and business partner has revealed that the Oscar winner is divorcing his wife of 24 years.

Bill Luckett, an attorney in Mississippi, told Access Hollywood that the 73-year-old actor and Myrna Colley-Lee, “are involved in a divorce action.”

He adds that, “for legal and practical purposes, [Freeman and Colley-Lee] have been separated since December of 2007.”

Freeman is currently recovering in a Memphis hospital after undergoing sugery to reconnect nerves and to repair damage to his left arm and hand as a result of Sunday night’s crash.
