Naomi Campbell Arrested After Airplane Scuffle

Supermodel Naomi Campbell was arrested on Thursday at London’s Heathrow airport and removed off a flight bound for the US after she reportedly assaulted an officer.

Metropolitan Police state that they were "alerted to a disturbance" at 5:11pm, with a spokesperson confirming, "Subsequently, a 37-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of assaulting a police officer."

Campbell was removed from the Los Angeles-bound British Airways flight, with TMZ.com reporting witnesses as saying they heard her scream "get off me, leave me alone" as she was handcuffed and led off the plane. 

According to police, the supermodel "was taken to Heathrow Police Station", with no further information about the incident or a comment from her representatives being released at time of writing.
