Natalie Portman Takes A Political Stand

March 28th, 2008

Natalie Portman is featured in a new public service announcement encouraging people to vote in the upcoming US Presidential election, saying that "To vote is to express yourself."

The campaign directs people to a new documentary called ‘Chicago 10′ that re-enacts the 1968 Democratic Convention – where democrats gather to choose a candidate for the election – in which protesters of the Vietnam War clashed with police, leading to eight people being charged with conspiracy in connection to the protests.
