Rapper Nelly has expressed an interest in recording a duet with Bruce Springsteen on his upcoming album, ‘Brass Knuckles’, and hopes to "get it off" for a seperate version of the record to be released later in the year.
Talking to The Associated Press on the orange carpet of Nickolodean’s Kids Choice Awards on Saturday (March 29), Nelly said, "I was really trying to get The Boss, but The Boss is all over the world. It didn’t really work out.’
"I know he’s interested in doing it. And I’m interested in doing it," he explained.
The first single from the album, called ‘Party People’, features Fergie, however, the 33-year-old is confident the song with Springsteen will still happen.
"We still might get a chance to get it off," he said. "We’re saving it. We might repackage it for the holidays."
