Network Won’t Screen Family Guy Abortion Episode

The Fox network has issued a statement saying they won’t screen an upcoming episode of Family Guy that deals with abortion, but will allow the producers to distribute it online or on dvd.
Creator Seth MacFarlane discussed the controversial ep, called Partial Terms of Endearment, while visiting Comic-Con in San Diego on the weekend.
“Twentieth Century Fox, as always, allowed us to produce the episode and then said, ‘You know what? We’re scared to f**king death of this,’” MacFarlane explained.
Fox released a statement on Monday (July 27) saying, “Fox will not air the Partial Terms of Endearment episode of Family Guy, but we fully support the producers’ right to make the episode and distribute it in whatever way they want.”
