It’s been almost six years since Whitney Houstan released her last album of new material but the singer is in the studio working on new songs for an album release towards the end of the year.
Speaking at music bible Billboard’s Music and Money Symposium in New York on Thursday, the man who discovered Houston, Clive Davis, revealed that four songs have been completed with four more in the pipeline for to be finished this month.
"We’re on track for a holiday release," Davis explained. "We’re not going to compromise who she is to fit into today’s hip-hop radio market. The public wants Whitney material."
Several producers and songwriters have been brought in to work on the project including will.I.am from The Black Eyed Peas, Akon and Ne-Yo.
