New TV Series For Patrick Swayze

U.S. television network A&E has greenlighted a new series called ‘The Beast’ starring Patrick Swayze as an FBI veteran.

The ‘Dirty Dancing’ star, who was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in March and is currently undergoing treatment, will star in the new show that is set to debut next year.

Swayze released a statement regarding the pickup of the new show saying, "I have searched for quite a long time to find a character that is this mutilayered, unpredictable and downright entertaining as well as a project this current and cutting-edged."

    Great to hear that Patrick is feeling better and is going back to work. This is absolutely fantastic news for all Swayze fans. I for one will not be missing an episode of the Beast!
