February 24th, 2009

Reports that Nicky Hilton place a man under citizen’s arrest on Saturday (Feb 21) outside of a West Hollywood IHOP, have been confirmed by the LA County Sheriff’s Department.

Hilton was at the pancake restaurant at 4:50am when Michael Broadhurst, 50, allegedly pushed her in the back.

According to police spokesman Steve Whitemore, Hilton placed Broadhurst under citizen’s arrest despite a deputy being on the scene.

“One of our deputies was in the IHOP… and heard a commotion,” Whitmore explained. “He went outside to investigate and discovered that Ms. Nicky Hilton was pushed from behind.”

Broadhurst was booked on a misdemeanor charge, released and is due to front court on April 21.
