Nicole Richie Glams It Up In New Photo Shoot

March 24th, 2009

Nicole Richie recently glammed up for BlackBook magzine as ‘80s transgender model and Stephen Sprouse muse Teri Toye with The Simple Life star saying, “it’s something I could never get away with in real life, so it’s fun to go on these shoots and really experiment.”

Richie opened up to the magazine about being a tabloid mag covergirl revealing, “We don’t allow tabloids in our house, so we really don’t know about anything unless it is serious.”

When asked if she is still friends with her former reality tv buddy, Paris Hilton, Richie commented, “Yes. We’re friends. We’ve known each other since we were little.”

As for rumors she is engaged to partner Joel Madden, father of her daughter Harlow, she says, “I’ve never been engaged.”

With Richie’s fashion label House of Harlow focusing on the 1960s, featuring vintage inspired jewellery and accessories, Richie comments “Music is my biggest inspiration. I love the music and the lifestyle and the clothes. I just love that time and wish I’d been around back then.”

However it seems that acting is Richie’s next target with the 27-year-old wanting to focus on ticking the funnybone.

“Comedy would be my first choice,” Richie says.  ”I love to laugh,”

It seems she’s found a fan in Gossip Girl creator Josh Schwartz, who also directed her in a recent guest role in Chuck, explains, “She interesting to watch, and has a dry wit – very acerbic. There are not a lot of girls who are pretty and funny. God doesn’t always give with both hands. Women root for her.”
