No Reconciliation For Angelina Jolie and Jon Voight

Reports of a reconciliation between Angelina Jolie and her father, Jon Voight have surfaced after it was alleged the two caught up in New York over the weekend, however Voight has denied the stories in the New York Post.
The pair were both spotted at New York’s Waldorf-Astoria hotel where Jolie was staying, with Voight being photographed leaving the premises on Sunday (October 7).
When questioned by the New York Post’s Page Six, Voight’s representative denied that a meeting took place between father and daughter.
No reason has ever officially been given for the breakdown of their relationship, however Jolie stated in Premiere Magazine in October 2004 that they were no longer on speaking terms.
"My father and I don’t speak," she said.
"I don’t hold any anger toward him. I don’t believe that somebody’s family becomes their blood. Because my son’s adopted, and families are earned."
