Nude Photo Of Madonna Sells For Over $37K At Auction

A black-and-white full-frontal, nude photo of Madonna, taken when she was 20-years-old, sold at auction for $37, 500 on Thursday (Feb 12), with the bidder being an anonymous European.

The pic was sold through Christie’s Auction House New York and had been expected to fetch about $15,000.

According to the photographer Lee Friedlander, the then unknown singer was trying to get her music career started saying, she “seemed very confident, a street-wise girl. She told me she was putting a band together but half the kids that age are doing that. She was a good professional model.”
