Obama To Make History With Appearance On Leno

President Barack Obama is set to make history as the only sitting president to ever appear as a guest on a live late night talk show, when he sits down for a chat with Jay Leno on Thursday night (March 19).
Former presidents have appeared on tv, but usually in a pre-recorded capacity with President Bush popping up on Deal or No Deal, President Clinton featured in a telemovie and Gerald Ford appeared briefly on Saturday Night Live in 1976.
According to Variety, President Obama’s late night stop is in an attempt to win support of his economic agenda.
