Sad news today for one of the longest running tv dramas in history, with news that the original Law & Order has been canceled by NBC.

After 20 seasons of the crime series, the network decided to pull the pin, instead opting to start a new spin-off, Law & Order: Los Angeles.

“Never complain, never explain,” creator Dick Wolf said of the news.

Don’t fret L&O fans, we still have Law & Order: SVU on our screens for at least another season, with Mariska Hargitay and Christopher Meloni signed on until the end of season 12.
