OMG! Anne Hathaway Cast In New Batman Flick

The movie world quietly peed their pants with excitement when they received notice that Anne Hathaway is set to play Selena Kyle, aka Catwoman, in the new Batman flick The Dark Knight Rises.
“I am thrilled to have the opportunity to work with Anne Hathaway, who will be a fantastic addition to our ensemble as we complete our story,” director Christopher Nolan said in a statement.
Additionally, Nolan announced that Tom Hardy (last seen in Inception) has signed up to play Batman’s nemesis Bane.
“I am delighted to be working with Tom again and excited to watch him bring to life our new interpretation of one of Batman’s most formidable enemies.”
The Dark Knight Rises is set to hit cinemas in July, 2012.
