Oprah Winfrey Honored For Arts By President Obama

Oprah Winfrey, Paul McCartney, dancer-choreographer Bill T. Jones, Merle Haggard and Broadway composer Jerry Herman were the five Kennedy Center Honorees who have “given the nation the extraordinary gift of the arts,” President Obama said during a ceremony on Sunday (Dec. 5).
