Oscars Opts For Dual Hosts: Alec Baldwin & Steve Martin

alec-baldwin-nbc-mitchell-haasethA unique double header has been tapped to host the 82nd Annual Academy Awards next year, with Steve Martin and Alec Baldwin assuming the dual master of ceremony roles.

alec-baldwin-nbc-mitchell-haaseth“I am happy to co-host the Oscars with my enemy Alec Baldwin,” Martin said in a statement Tuesday (November 3).

Baldwin, star of the critically acclaimed tv series 30 Rock, added, “I don’t play the banjo but I’m thrilled to be hosting the Oscars—it’s the opportunity of a lifetime.”

    I think this is a great combo to host the Oscars together, unfortunately I haven't watched an Awards show in at least 5 years.
