Owen Wilson In Good Condition After Hospital Scare

Actor Owen Wilson released a statement to the media on Monday (August 27) following reports he attempted suicide and was hospitilized, saying he needs to "heal in private".
US tabloids Star Magazine and The National Enquirer first ran the story, claiming the 38-year-old actor was found by his family after he tried to slit his wrists and swallow pills, however these stories have not been confirmed or denied by Wilson or his representatives.
A statement released by his publicist, Ina Treciokas, said:
"I respectfully ask that the media allow me to receive care and heal in private during this difficult time."
No further comments about the stars condition are being made at this time with Cynthia Harding of the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles telling the Associated Press Wilson "is here in good condition."
