Paris Hilton has personally apologized to Kim Kardashian, after stating on Las Vegas radio that Kardashian’s behind looked like "cottage cheese inside a big trash bag".

Hilton’s appearance on the Chet Buchanan & The Morning Zoo show made headlines after the interview was posted on the web, with Hilton being asked what she thought of her former best friend.

"I would not want [Kim's butt] – it’s gross!" the heiress said on the show.  "It reminds me of cottage cheese inside a big trash bag."

Realizing that the comments went to far, Hilton offered her apologies to Kardashian, telling In Touch that, "I felt really bad afterward, so I contacted Kim and apologized. It was a silly thing to say. Kim’s hot!"  

Kardashian accepted the apology, saying, "Paris and I have been friends since we were kids and I’m glad she made the effort to say she’s sorry."
