Paris Hilton Detained On Drug Possession At World Cup

Paris Hilton’s time at the World Cup has come to an abrupt end, after police detained the socialite for marijuana possession in Port Elizabeth, South Africa, on Friday (July 2).
TMZ reports that Hilton was enjoying the game between Brazil and the Netherlands (the Netherlands won 2-1) when authorities confronted the heiress and her entourage at Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium.
“This person is appearing in court right now,” Brig. Marinda Mills from Port Elizabeth police told The Associated Press. “We cannot reveal information about her until she has appeared in court. I am here with the individual in court, we’re waiting for the court to start,”
Unconfirmed reports say that Hilton was not smoking the pot, but was caught with the weed in hand.
