The executive producer of ’My Name Is Earl’ announced on Tuesday (March 4) that Paris Hilton will be a guest star on an upcoming episode of the hit television show.

Greg Garcia revealed the script details, saying that Hilton will appear as herself as part of a dream sequence after Earl is knocked out.

"When we wrote the role of Paris Hilton in the script, we weren’t exactly sure who to go with for the role," Garcia explains.

"But after an exhausting search we finally settled on a relatively unknown actress by the name of Paris Hilton."

The new episode, to screen on April 3 in the US, will be the first one since the return of the writer‘s, following their strike.
