Pete Wentz’s Deal With Sesame Street, FOB Not Splitting

April 21st, 2008

Fall Out Boy’s bassist Pete Wentz has revealed that he is in talks with the makers of Sesame Street, about a possible collaboration with his clothing label Clandestine Industries.

Wentz posted a message on his website stating that he is currently working on a new venture for Clandestine Industries, writing, "Got the chance to meet with the Sesame Street peeps in New York. Talking about maybe doing a Clandestine Sesame Street collaboration. That would blow my mind as i grew up on all that. We’ll see, nothing set in stone yet."

The musician also put to rest recent rumors that Fall Out Boy are splitting, saying, "[I] also want to make it very clear that Clandestine nor Patrick (Stump, lead vocalist of Fall Out Boy) will ever take away from FOB. We are at a place where we need our music to grow and figure out who we are. So dont worry about any of that stuff, aight peeps?"
