Peter Andre and Katie Price Announce Split

British stars Peter Andre and Katie Price announced they are separating on Monday (May 11), after four years of marriage and two children together.
A statement posted on his website says:
“Peter Andre and Katie Price are separating after 4 years of marriage, Can Associates Limited can confirm today. They have both requested that the media respect their families’ privacy at this difficult time.
Please Note: This is the only statement/comment that Can Associates Ltd, Peter Andre and Katie Price will be making.”
Despite this message from their reps, Price released her own statement saying, “Pete is the love of my life and my life. We have children together and I am devastated and disappointed by his decision to separate and divorce me, as I married him for life.
“This is not what I want and the decision has been taken out of my hands.”
She adds, “I will not comment further or do any interviews regarding the separation but I will always love my Pete.”
The couple, who met on the set of the UK version of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! in 2004, have been documenting their lives in California while Andre records his latest album.
