Playright David Mamet is pissed with ‘Entourage’ star Jeremy Piven, after he pulled out of the Broadway play ‘Speed-The-Plow’, citing a high level of mercury.
The actor missed Tuesday night’s performance (December 16) and Wednesday’s matinee, with his doctor advising him to quit immediately according to his spokeswoman.
Mamet told Daily Variety, “I talked to Jeremy on the phone, and he told me that he discovered that he had a very high level of mercury.
“So my understanding is that he is leaving show business to pursue a career as a thermometer.” he added.
