P!nk has confirmed that she is pregnant with her first child during a visit to the Ellen DeGeneres Show, which is set to air Wednesday (Nov. 17).

Rumors had circulated for a couple of weeks that the singer and husband Carey Hart were expecting a baby, but there was a reason for her delay to speak publicly about it.

“I was just really nervous,” P!nk said. “I have had a miscarriage before, but if I was going to talk about it with anyone, it was going to be with you.”

She also revealed that the pregnancy was not a mistake saying, “I worked for it… It was not an ‘Oops.’”
