Police Shut Down Justin Bieber’s Australian Show
April 25th, 2010Justin Bieber Fever hit Australia on Monday morning (April 26), with approximately 7000 fans showing up to a television appearance, forcing police to shut the gig down due to injuries and overcrowding.
The 16-year-old is Down Under on a promotional tour and was due to perform a handful of songs on the foreshore of Sydney Harbour, however, with reports of ten girls fainting and barricades being broken police called off the gig at 5:00am.
Not wanting to disappoint fans, Bieber high-tailed it to the station’s studios and performed his hit song Baby safely behind glass.
“I love my fans….and I am just as disappointed as everyone else with the news from this morning. I want to sing for my fans,” Bieber wrote on Twitter.
“I WANT TO MAKE THIS CLEAR…I DONT CANCEL…I WOKE UP THIS MORNING TO THE POLICE CANCELING THE SHOW FOR SAFETY REASONS.”
He added, “I love my fans…I love it here in Australia…and I want to sing… I’m beyond grateful…that was incredible. Thank u for such an amazing warm welcome Australia…I told you I wouldnt let you down. Thank U!”

THEY SHUT IT DOWN CAUSE TO MANY PEOPLE IN THE CROWD AND ABOUT 10 GIRLS FAINTED YEAH I WENT IM THE SAME ON THAT SAID JUSTIN I LOVE U AND I HAD BIEBER FEVER AND I WAS ALSO IN BIEBER MANIA THE POLICE CALLED IT OFF NOT JUSTIN STILL LOVE JUSTIN JUST LOOK AT HIS TWITTER YOU HAVE TO MY SIS SHOWED ME HER ON THE I POD AND ONE OF THE TWITTER BLOGS SAID I WANT TO MAKE THIS CLEAR I DIDN'T CANCEL THE CONCERT HE DOSEN'T CANCEL!
